HP Slate y el dilema de los sistemas operativos

Clearly our present is very far from what happened a few years ago in the world of operating systems. Everything changes, everything changes, and mentioned industry is not without it.

You've been through, in a very short time, a centralized ion Attn PCs and laptops to a growing importance in the world of mobile and also that of the tablets, which is the focus of much of the innovation.

Two new news we'd like to share here. On the one hand we find the decision not to market HP HP Slate, which was to lead Windows 7 , and secondly we have the announcement of a new webOS version 2.0 later this year. But let's go step by step ...

On Slate, HP has decided that only versions will be launched to corporate companies and other institutions, so that the average consumer, that we most of us, you can not get to try this new tablet that has raised so many expectations. Rather than the cancellation of the device itself, this is important because another product that would take Windows (W7 Home Premium) has been discarded.

Would not be surprising, given the circumstances, that the announcement by Jon Rubinstein that we will have a new version of webOS 2.0, the operating system created by Plam in recent years is related to their inclusion in future HP products mobile and tablets.

What we can also wonder what future is some modification of tablets include Windows 7 operating system.     2. As I have understood the decision to devote to the corporate market Slate finally opted for Windows 7.
    I guess for the mass market will look for something with better response in low power devices, I guess WebOS 2.
