Adobe has launched Adobe AIR for Linux 1.5. Distributions include adobe air support is Fedora 8, Ubuntu 7.10 and openSUSE 10.3. This enables companies and developers to easily reach users using the three major operating systems - Windows, Linux and Mac - with a single code base.

Adobe just released an update to version 9 and version 10 of Flash Player that fixes a number of issues important enough so everyone should update the software, and is available for Linux, Solaris, OS X and Windows. It affects virtually everyone, because Flash Player is installed on 98% percent of the world's computers. It does not have the latest version, a computer can become infected by simply viewing a web page.

Flash for Linux x86_64, the first Alpha of Adobe

A few days ago Adobe released on Adobe Labs that had released the first Alpha of Flash Player 10 for Linux 64 bit. This is the first downloadable version of this software for the x86_64 platform, a highly-anticipated news because until now those who wish to use this software from Adobe should make use of emulation layers or a mixed system if using a 64 bit distribution .

Moreover Adobe says Flash is also developing for Solaris x86 and Solaris Sparc.
