PC-BSD 7.1 "Galileo" αlpha2
Faster than my updates to PCBSD is the development of BSD Unix FreeDesktop more "pretty" and easy when installing software, now based on FreeBSD 7.1-Stable and adding Xorg 7.4 (headaches for Kris Moore and colleagues) with KDE 4.2. I guess you already have full support in Spanish from the preferred windowmanager Linus Benedict Torvalds.

How to write your Linux virus in 5 easy steps.
This is the headline with which I am in http://www.geekzone.co.nz/foobar/6229
As discussed in the web that mention, has always been said that Linux and Unix systems are extremely safe. Sim, however, that as time passes these systems be gaining users, and these programs using increasingly more complex and more "automatic / comfortable", causes the lack of knowledge, the routine use or lack of foresight made our system as robust, at least internally, to become a sieve. In the article that I have left are described 5 steps to create a type of software that is able to spread through almost every Linux and Unix with Gnome and / or KDE and cause damage that can be considered quite simply with a little social engineering. This article could easily open multiple debates but particularly I think the more necessary would be to talk about the minimum training that anyone should have when using a computer, after all we have learned also all driving?
Debian 5.0 available for download tomorrow
It appears that unless some cataclysm or other mishap of magnitude, tomorrow will be released version 5.0 of Debian with numerous changes. As discussed have paid special attention to security (vulnerabilities, patches, less executable UID, etc) will enjoy more than updated packages (KDE 3.5.9, OpenOffice 2.4.1, Samba 3.2.5, etc). Tomorrow is a big day for fans of this legendary distribution.
Interview with Linus Torvalds, the father of Linux ;)
In Distrowatch find a recent interview the father and creator of Linux or GNU / Linux for the purists where among other things talks about his change of KDE to Gnome (apparently not by choice) and tell us what you use distribution . Linus also makes clear that from their point of view there are so many distributions is not bad, quite the opposite, which is necessary.

KDE 4.2 final available for download.
Named "The answer" has seen the light a few hours ago the final release of KDE 4.2. KDE developers feel they have reached a point where it has regained much of the functionality and stability that was lost in the first versions of the branch 4. We test the livecd in http://kde.org/mirrors/ and the source code, compile it ourselves if we are even ready to install binary packages depending on your distribution. Congratulations to all who make it possible for important projects such as KDE.
¿KDE Desktop Windows 7 will be?
Viewing the screenshots of Windows 7 desktop, something strange happened to me over the head. It is rumored that we will have available the Windows 7 Beta 1 in January. But I have not been very original in design of desktop theme.
! Do not tell me not look like a KDE desktop with Compiz-Fusion! I leave another capture below, to judge for yourselves, but increasingly I find most to KDE 4 Plasma.
Also read in ArsTecnica who has revealed the possible appearance of new Boot Windows 7. The image that appears when you start loading Windows, was very similar in Vista and XP.
But as you can see in the video, which left at home now is more minimalist. I like the style but I think it should be something bigger, I guess the final version will vary and will depend on the screen being used. But that's a laptop, and I do not have more than 19 ".

Good news for fans of the KDE desktop, is now available KDE version 4.1.3 codenamed Change (change) this spectacular desktop has been upgraded to fix some errors that gave Dolphin, a novel optimization in the selection and deselection of files, KHTLM enough bugfixes (HTML errors in Konqueror), also fixed some bugs in the system Kopete multi-protocol messaging.
