Firefox Mobile (Fennec) 1.0 for Maemo

Just released version 1.0 of Firefox Mobile (Fennec project) for mobile phones. For now only available for Nokia Maemo (N810 and N900 terminals), still in alpha for Windows Mobile, and in early stage of development for Google Android.

This version 1.0 does not support plugins, but extensions (add-ons), although at present only 40 are supported.

Kde 4 on Maemo 5

A group of developers gathered in connection with an event of Nokia Maemo 5 and N900 the new terminal have laid some groundwork for what could be an adaptation of KDE for Maemo .

The initial intention is to make the Maemo Linux platform officially supported on a platform.
