The distributor Debian has a policy that now seems to place them in a real dilemma: if they agree to adopt certain cacracterísticas own modern times as desired to achieve by any project that seeks to entice users, but in this case the cost is perhaps risking the element that served as a training framework for their own identity: stability. Conversely, if no access to these opportunities and are kept resisting as they have done for years his identity will be secured stable but at the cost of losing a large amount of public and users who may take it as their own. What to do?

Evidently, and according to what has been commenting on the web these days, Debian would be willing to pay the price of the first alternative, since a target server and can not afford professional environments, and would like to access layers broader population. Now, as we said, the price or condition of this is possible is to let the policy attached to the paragon of stability that made each update comes after several years of waiting.

In that sense has been discussed within the areas of Debian the possibility of incorporating all the latest GNU / Linux environment, or even Ubuntu or OpenSUSE, as is the use of PPAs.

We'll see how it is for Debian these experiments and if finally get the desired objective without ignoring the mark that set him apart in the market.

The. NET incorporates universal in its most complete ASP.NET 3.5, metadata checker for the JIT compiler and the expected inclusion of MonoDevelop 2.0. Except that does not support Linq what you needed to completely replace VStudio 2008 Orcas Microsoft? I think Mono is what certifications closer to those developers that are shifted to open this tool and platform-level software architects WinFX, J2EE Java or Objective-C Cocoa "institute" Apple. Novell certifications.
Mono 3.0 is expected with C # 4 to the end of 2009.
