Siesta, an operating system for tablets Iberian

The OS comes with iFreeTablet Siesta.
EATC research group at the University of Córdoba (UCO) developed a free operating system for tablets and laptops. The OS is called Siesta and was designed primarily for the newest iFreeTable, another product 100% Iberian.
According says Carlos Castro, Director of the research group, Siesta is SO easy to use, geared especially for elderly and disabled, as it not only allows applications access to touch, but also supports instructions through gestures , voice or sound.
It seems that this new OS can also perform a wide variety of actions such as turning on an appliance or perform some medical tests whose results can be sent directly to a hospital or clinic, which has a very direct and convenient for the target to aim for developers. Read more
