PC-BSD 7.0.1 Released

Has finally been released operating system PC-BSD 7.0.1, based on the OS - FreeBSD 7.0 Fibonacci Edition also called in this update have been fixed some bugs and improved the whole system. Among the major changes is the most awaited KDE 4.1.2 desktop which incidentally is quite spectacular.

Other enhancements include NTFS write support, Adobe Flash 9, and improvements in WiFi wireless networks, in addition to the upgrade tool (from a PC-BSD 7.0).

I forgot we also have PC-BSD version 7.0.1 64-bit (amd64) and you can download along with the 32 bits from here: http://www.pcbsd.org/content/view/21/11/

Those of you used to install programs with a click and want to try a first cousin of the block system, try PC-BSD, and give it a try.

  2. Now what interests me is to install PCBSD 7.0 and it seems that that amount of memory (640 MB) is low, but I will continue to do so: for I find it more interesting to use Win NT 6.1 BSD
