Notes on event Google I / 0 2010
Froyo Android makes everything easier
We all know that has made the second keynote of the event Google I / O. After its completion we can draw several implications and conclusions. Now, the first we have to mention is the obvious and glaring Google intend to position Apple as indisputable competition. Here in this case.
Among the many innovations presented in this nice event, glorious highlights the Android 2.2 operating system, called by many "Froyo" (Frozen Yogurt). We realize how great this new operating system from Google that offers the possibility of create a WiFi access point from our 3G connection. The funny thing was that this was demonstrated in the middle of the event by connecting an iPhone to the Internet.
As you know, one of the most visible sides of criticism of Apple's device that was designed with the idea that you have no choice but to hire a data rate of its own (preventing use the SIM from your phone, you force to use a MicroSim). Naturally, this results in an additional amount of user costs, looked at from the other side, an extra profit for the Cupertino-people who agreed with operators. Hence the revulsion and ironic gesture the people at Google, which allows us to save Froyo various currencies.
A final novel, but not least, is that Android operating system now runs with a compiler Just-in-time to optimize code execution through a precompilation and caching compiled instructions. What is the result of all this? A savage increase in execution speed, which makes us feel we fly. Good for Google.
