New on Bertos, Contiki, Genode Nitpicker OS and MenutOS
This past week has left some developments between systems operating poorly understood. Bertos, Contiki, Genode Nitpicker have presented new version. MenuetOS last week released version 0.9.
Bertos is a system for embedded devices with real-time kernel RTOS. With the release of version 2.0 has added new hardware support, the Battfs file systems for embedded systems, new method of configuration, etc.
Contiki is a system for embedded devices with regard to use in networks, support for IP is complete. In version 2.2.2 IPv6 support is given, the fate support the AVR architecture and has been included httpd server, wget, etc.
Genode Nitpicker OS Framework is built on the L4 microkernel operating systems to create a focus on safety and roustez. In order to be used in high security environments, devices, phones or cars, they hope to release a LiveCD with the arrival in 2009. With the release of version 8.11 the biggest news is a new API for drivers which focused on "real life" with more flexible drivers.
On the other hand a few weeks ago that was presented version 0.9 of MenuetOS , the popular operating system in assembler for i386 and amd64. Among the latest webcam and printer support USB 2.0 and new Web browser and vizier of images.
