Windows Vista developers have officially confirmed the existence of the Service Pack 2 operating system and have already produced some interesting data on their news: the best, the implemented hardware support, as among the characteristics that have underscored the responsibility is support Bluetooth Specification 2.1, the ability to record Blu-ray discs directly, or improvements in WiFi.
The Windows Vista Blog points out how the upcoming PDC 2008 to be held from next Monday 27 will focus on the upcoming Windows 7 , but also highlight the fact that Windows Vista also has its place. Why? Well, because its developers are preparing for the departure of the second Service Pack for the operating system.

Mike Nash has written a post on this blog that confirms that some members of the Technology Adoption Program customers of Microsoft will have access to a beta version of this Service Pack 2 for Windows Vista, because the company offered this draft next Wednesday, October 29. Not yet know anything about the final date of the occurrence of this Service Pack 2, as Nash says that this "depends on the quality of SP2."
What it has done is to reveal some of the innovations incorporated into this second service pack, and will include:
- Windows Search 4.0 is included for better and faster desktop search.
- Support for Bluetooth feature pack 2.1, the new version of this standard.
- Ability to burn Blu-ray discs directly from Windows Vista as we already do with conventional CDs and DVDs.
- Technology Windows Connect Now (WCN) to simplify WiFi configuration.
- Support for UTC timestamps in the exFAT file system.
