You get to run Linux on the iPhone
Probably this is a great for the fact that the Linux community has an iPhone. The project development team iPhone Linux has managed to port the Linux 2.6 kernel to the original iPhone, the iPhone 3G and the iPod Touch.
The operating system is quite limited for now, since most of the benefits of the iPhone is not available. However there are some things I do support, such as framebuffer and connecting the iPhone to a PC serial port or USB.
If anyone wants to download can be done from this link . Here is the manual on how to do.
