Siesta, an operating system for tablets Iberian

The iFreeTablet Siesta comes with the OS.
The EATC research group at the University of Córdoba (UCO) has developed a free operating system for tablets and laptops. The OS is called Siesta and was designed primarily for the newest iFreeTable, another Iberian product 100%.
According says Carlos Castro, Director of the Research, Siesta is SO easy to use, targeted especially for the elderly and disabled, as it not only provides access to applications on a touchscreen, but it also supports instructions through gestures , voice or sound.
It seems that this new OS also allows a wide variety of actions such as turning on an appliance or perform some medical tests whose results can be sent directly to a hospital or clinic, which has a very direct and convenient application for target that aimed to developers.
The commitment to free software makes it even more interesting as Siesta can be improved by the community.
