Zenwalk Linux 6.0 is a Linux distribution based on Slackware Linux focused on Internet tools, multimedia, and programming, created by Jean-Philippe Guillemin. The distribution based on stability, power and ease of installation of a distribution based on Slack, has been very different from Slackware mostly, while maintaining compatibility with binary packages.

This is the list of new features of version:
- Kernel 2.6.28.7 with gspca (supports USB cameras)
- The new XFCE 4.6 desktop
- Openoffice 3.0.1 replaces Gnome Office as the primary office automation suite
- Network manager Wicd as
- New Zenpanel with integrated records management, Wifi and Wired Network Manager
- Granting gksu keyring based desktop system
- Start fast (optimized init scripts, with realtime I / O scheduler)
- PAM authentication has been added to system
- Improved suspend / hibernate, with XFCE Power Manager
- New detection netpkg with orphan dependencies
- Exaile juke-box stream player has been added
- Nurvo artwork
- A simplified installer

  2. Looks good, really well back to my origins in the end (slackware) but without having to fight with the system, if the printer works fine bonjour, just changed my laptop's ubuntu for this, the safest thing but with XFCE instead of GNOME (or who knows, maybe I'll stick with XFCE). Regards
